The announcement is stated as follows: Nepal will become the newest site for CPA Exam testing on 1st December, 2020. Egypt and Jordan join other Middle East countries where the CPA Exam is offered.
This decision helps the Nepal students to ease the burden of travelling to countries like Dubai, United States, for writing the CPA exam.

CPA Exam Format:
There are four sections in the US CPA exam:
Regulation (REG)
Auditing and Attestation (AUD)
Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR)
Business Environment and Concepts (BEC)
The AICPA administers the CPA exam. The total duration of the exam is 16 hours (4 hours for each section).

CPA Cost: CPA exam fee is $1000 and International testing fee is $1500. Additionally, $225 for evaluation making the overall CPA exam cost INR 2,00,000 without training fee.
