US CMA Exam Structure:
The CMA exam conducted by the IMA has a 2-part syllabus consisting of 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs) and 2 essay-type questions, in each. Aspirants are granted 3 hours to attempt the MCQs and 1 hour to complete the essays. This is a computer-based examination, administered at the Prometric testing centres. To pass the CMA exam, you must score at least 360 out of 500, or overall 70%, combining the MCQs and essays.
